Role Overview
About the Role
We are looking for a driven Sales & Distribution Executive to grow QuillBees' presence across bookshops, schools, libraries, and online marketplaces. You will build relationships with trade buyers and institutional accounts, and ensure our titles are stocked, visible, and selling.
What You Will Do
- Develop and manage accounts with bookshops, educational institutions, and library networks
- Pitch new titles to buyers and present seasonal catalogues
- Manage listings and stock on online platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Track sales data and produce regular reports on title performance by channel
- Coordinate with the operations team on stock levels, fulfilment, and returns
- Represent QuillBees at book fairs and trade events
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years in sales, preferably in publishing, FMCG, or education
- Existing relationships with trade or institutional buyers is a strong advantage
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Comfortable with data — able to read sales reports and act on trends
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and trade events
